Ashrae

ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers) was formed as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers by the merger in 1959 of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) founded in 1894 and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) founded in 1904. It serves as authority in design guidelines that have been the industry standards for decades. They laid the cornerstone in ventilation, comfort and energy efficiency for HVAC systems having standards that have been adopted as Codes worldwide.

Founded in 1964, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is the international organization for professionals skilled in the design, specification and inspection of plumbing systems. ASPE is dedicated to the advancement of the science of plumbing engineering, to the professional growth and advancement of its members and the health, welfare and safety of the public.

Established in 1896, the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) offers 300 codes and standards that have helped protect lives and property from fire and electric damage.
